This recipe for easy smoked tuna dip is quick, delicious, and perfect for parties!

Course: Appetizer
  • 2-5 oz cans of Wild Selections® Solid White Albacore in oil, drained
  • 1/3 cup mayo
  • 1/3 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 white onion, diced
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 handful parsley
  • 3 green onions, chopped
  • 3 tsp capers
  • 1/4 lemon
  • pepper to taste
  • liquid smoke, to taste
  • Worcestershire sauce, to taste
  1. In a small pan, heat the butter on medium low. Add the onions, and saute until caramelized. Around 20-30 minutes.

  2. Add the caramelized onions, mayo, sour cream, parsley, and capers to a food processor and blend. Add to a bowl.

  3. Add the juice of ¼ lemon and stir. Add the liquid smoke and worcestershire sauce to taste, a couple glugs at a time.

  4. Fold in the tuna.

Recipe Notes

Wild Selections has several options for canned tuna. I especially love the solid albacore and light tuna. Both are perfect choices for this dip.
