Perfect for a warm night, Mediterranean Style Tuna pizza will wow your taste buds and keep you coming back for more. This summertime twist on your favorite Italian dish features Wild Selections Solid White Albacore Tuna in water and will become your family’s go-to pizza recipe.

  • 1 can 5 oz. Wild Selections Solid White Albacore Tuna in water, drained
  • 1 1/2 cups mozzarella cheese shredded
  • 1/4 cup crumbled goat cheese
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 1 minced clove of garlic
  • ½ cup sliced olives of your choice
  • 1/2 cup julienned roasted red bell pepper
  • 1/2 cup of sun-dried tomatoes
  • Optional chopped fresh herbs like basil, chives, parsley

Pizza Dough Ingredients
  • 3 1/2 cups bread flour
  • 1 teaspoon instant yeast
  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
Pizza Dough
  1. Combine yeast, flour and salt in a large mixing bowl

  2. Mix in olive oil and water

  3. By hand, knead mixture for 5-8 minutes until it turns into a smooth ball of dough

  4. Divide dough into two or four balls and place on floured surface. Brush with oil and store in Ziploc bags

  5. Refrigerate dough overnight, up to three days

  6. Before baking, allow the dough to sit for two hours at room temperature

  7. Alternatively, purchase premade dough or a flatbread as substitute to homemade dough

  1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees

  2. Divide and roll pizza dough to make two medium pizzas or four individual-sized pizzas

  3. In a bowl, mix olive oil and garlic together. Use brush to spread directly on pizza dough

  4. Generously sprinkle mozzarella cheese, followed by the tuna, tomatoes, peppers and olives

  5. Top with the goat cheese

  6. Place pizzas on baking sheet. Bake medium pizzas 10-15 minutes, individual-sized pizzas 8-10 minutes.

  7. Remove pizzas from oven and finish with herbs or balsamic glaze.
