01 Jun Tuna Patties with Tandoori Sauce
Have a different kind of patty this summer. This Tuna Patties recipe made with, Wild Selections Solid White Albacore Tuna in Olive Oil, will win you the title of being this season’s best host. Don’t forget the Tandoori sauce on the side for the cool kick that will put these patties over the top.
- 2 5oz. cans of Wild Selections Solid White Albacore Tuna in Olive Oil
- 2 tablespoon fresh, chopped cilantro
- ¼ cup of gram flour
- ½ cup of grated onion
- ½ teaspoon ajwain seeds
- 1 teaspoon of ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon of chili powder
- 1 teaspoon of ginger garlic paste
- 2 tablespoon of garam masala
- 2 tablespoon of olive oil
Pull apart canned tuna into small, fine pieces
Place tuna into mixing bowl, along with grated onion, gram flour, ginger garlic paste, cilantro, garam masala, ajwain seeds, ground cumin, and as much salt as needed.
Mix until a moldable consistent mixture is reached.
Roll mixture into 13-15 separate round balls. Make sure mixture is portioned evenly. Flatten balls into mini disc shapes and place them off to the side.
Preheat skillet on medium high and add vegetable oil. Once oil reaches a hot temperature, place in premade tuna patties and lower heat to medium. Make sure to flip patties every 30-45 seconds, cook for 2-4 minutes or until patties are a golden brown.
Transfer patties onto a servable platter.
