06 Mar Spicy Asian Salmon Meatballs
These flavorful meatballs are great as a party food or appetizer! The combination of Wild Selections® Salmon with a pinch of sweet and a touch of spice makes for a delicious bite-sized snack.
- 2 packages Wild Selections® Salmon Fillets In Olive Oil
- 1/2 cup panko bread crumbs
- 2 stalks green onions, chopped
- 1 tbsp garlic, minced
- 1 tsp ground ginger
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1 egg
- 1/3 cup pineapple juice
- 1/3 cup tomato sauce
- 1 pinch brown sugar
- 1 1/2 tbsp sriracha
- 1 1/2 tbsp soy sauce
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
With clean hands: combine salmon, bread crumbs, green onions, half the ginger, sesame oil, and egg in a bowl.
Roll mixture into 10-12 meatballs and place on an oiled baking sheet. Bake for 15-20 minutes.
Prepare sauce by combining pineapple juice, tomato sauce, sriracha, soy sauce, and remaining ginger in a sauce pan. Boil for 10 minutes, stirring continuously.
Pour sauce on top of meatballs and serve! (Optional: Top with sesame seeds)
