This recipe for easy smoked tuna dip is quick, delicious, and perfect for parties!
- 2-5 oz cans of Wild Selections® Solid White Albacore in oil, drained
- 1/3 cup mayo
- 1/3 cup sour cream
- 1/2 white onion, diced
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 handful parsley
- 3 green onions, chopped
- 3 tsp capers
- 1/4 lemon
- pepper to taste
- liquid smoke, to taste
- Worcestershire sauce, to taste
In a small pan, heat the butter on medium low. Add the onions, and saute until caramelized. Around 20-30 minutes.
Add the caramelized onions, mayo, sour cream, parsley, and capers to a food processor and blend. Add to a bowl.
Add the juice of ¼ lemon and stir. Add the liquid smoke and worcestershire sauce to taste, a couple glugs at a time.
Fold in the tuna.
Wild Selections has several options for canned tuna. I especially love the solid albacore and light tuna. Both are perfect choices for this dip.
