08 Feb Garlic Sardine Fettuccini
Making a gourmet-tasting meal doesn’t have to take all night. This delicious Garlic Sardine Fettuccini featuring Wild Selections® Lightly Smoked Sardine Fillets looks pretty plated with a sprinkle of fresh parsley. Option to swap classic fettuccine with whole wheat.
- 8 oz. fettuccine
- 5 tbsp. olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic minced
- 1 small tomato sliced
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 2 packages Wild Selections® Lightly Smoked Sardine Fillets
- 1/2 cup parsley chopped
- 1/2 cup parmesan cheese
- salt and pepper to taste
Boil pasta according to instructions on the package.
While pasta is cooking, sauté garlic in a pan with 2 TBSP olive oil for about 15 seconds. Add tomatoes and continue to sauté for 2 minutes. Transfer to bowl. Mix garlic and tomato mixture with lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
Add cooked pasta, sardines, and Parmesan cheese to bowl. Gently combine.
Sprinkle with parsley and enjoy!
